Traffic Enforcement

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Division focuses on enforcing road laws, targeting reckless/dangerous drivers, and reducing accidents caused by speed, street racing, and reckless drivers.

Our goal in Traffic enforcement is to ensure that drivers are following road laws, that commercial vehicles are inspected to reduce commercial vehicle related accidents, and to ensure proper traffic control to keep first responders safe when conducting scenes and investigations on roadways.

Traffic Enforcement currently offers three divisions for deputies to focus on. The following divisions are the following:

Traffic Enforcement features special vehicles to help in traffic operations. It is the only subdivision in the Blaine County Sheriff's office with access to motorcycles, special unmarked vehicles, and high-performance patrol vehicles.
