Mark Jeanette

Lieutenant Mark Jeanette

Born in a rough part of Chicago, specifically the South Side, Jeanette was always fondful of the police, because of the turf wars that would consistently happen. After many years, he joined the Chicago Police Academy, joining the Chicago Police Department 4th District, essentially right in his home area. The dream turned for the worst, though, when he was involved in a shooting in 2014, being shot twice, just a few months after joining the department. He resigned, moving to Delaware in search of a new career, working as a highschool teacher for a few years, before joining the Sussex County Sheriff's Office in Mid-Late 2020. In February of 2021 he was promoted to the rank of Patrol Sergeant, and then in May of 2022 to Patrol Lieutenant. He has since assisted behind the scenes with the department. Today, he mainly keeps to himself, but will still have a conversation every so often, enjoying his passion of building models when he has the chance. He also enjoys historical vehicles, primarily tanks and aircraft, having a couple owned already, and sometimes driving them.
